The Revolt Begins

I find it interesting that Fast Food workers are walking out on their jobs today to protest low wages.  I even saw one story where they think they should make $15 an hour as a starting wage.  So the revolt against corporations is beginning.  However there is no way in hell corporations are going to pay Fast Food workers $15 an hour that is a given.

Food Stamps Usage Continues to Rise

The number of people on food stamps is getting close to the 48 million level which is roughly 15% of the population.  This data only goes back to 1969.  If the economy is doing so well as projected by the media then why is food stamp usage still increasing?
